Today under the able leadership of Joe and Gus LaRocca, Tony's Fish & Seafood Corporation is on the brink of a food service breakthrough revolutionizing and industry with technological advances that will assure even better service, even faster delivery and even more variety.

Talking and acting from a position of strength is one reason why Tony's has been as successful as it is. Having solid ideas and the foresight to understand the market and meet the needs of its clientele have helped pave Tony's road to success.
Even in the beginning, things moved quickly. Back in 1948 as a retail-only establishment, Tony's Fish Market served its clientele with nothing less than quality and fast service. In the years that follow, their growing business saw Tony's virtually burst at the seams as they went from exclusively retail to the next step.

To meet the food service needs of area hospitals. Tony's began its lucrative wholesale business with, once again, service and quality the keys to success. During these early years the young brothers Joe (better known as "Tony") and Gus spent all their spare time learning the business, working alongside their uncles Tony and Jimmy.
Even with a catalogue of over 1,500 different items, Tony's growth continues to be in fish. "People continue to go seafood crazy," says Joe. "People know how to cook it better than ever." There is even a resident mashgiyah on the premises to assure Kosher supervision.
Tony's is currently working on geographic expansion plans that will take it to locations like Atlantic City, Delaware and Hartford and beyond. More business continues to come in, in part because of quality service and products, and in part because of one of the best sales team in the industry. Today it takes 20 telephone lines and a full time sales staff of eight just to handle the daily orders that come in non-stop. Tony's growing service team of over 80 people is as dedicated as owners Joe and Gus are themselves. "Many of our people," says Gus, "have been with Tony's for 10 to 15 years and more. They're hard working and committed to providing nothing less than the best service."
Any Way you look at it, Tony's has an appetite for success. The clever slogan on their truck says "From Fishes to Knishes, one call and you've got it all." Those words not only sum up Tony's corporate feeding philosophy, they also summarize Tony's business outlook: To offer people the widest variety, to deliver it quickly and to keep customers coming back for more.
